kelly clarkson

I spent the past few days watching various singers performing sessions at AOL. Well if you haven't already known, AOL is one of those places with really really good audio equipment and top-notch backup singers. Yea so anyway so the live sessions at AOL are usually extremely great to watch because most singers sound good there, even if they normally don't sound that good live. And then I saw this live of Kelly Clarkson performing "Since You've Been Gone" on AOL (which she did on the studio key, unlike going one step down like she usually does for her lives) and her voice cracked at the bridge while trying to hit one of the high notes. Poor her. That's what happens to most singers when they overperform and their voices get strained and all husky and stuff like that.

Then I went to search and came across this video, which shows a much younger Kelly Clarkson, performing the song on acoustic at the actual key and nailing the high notes well. Good job!
